End wall scaffolding

An end-wall scaffold is used to support the (end) wall formwork and it also functions as a scaffold. Used (primarily) for tower construction, an end-wall scaffold is often used in combination with a suspended end-wall scaffold. A suspended end-wall scaffold provides extra safety from falling objects and allows for work to be performed on the facade one storey below.

Technical data:

  • Maximum hoisting length: 14400 mm.
  • Maximum evenly distributed load of 150 kg/m2 and the weight of the wall formwork itself.
  • The suspension shoes can be placed a maximum distance of 2400 mm from each other. For wall compartments larger than 2100 mm, a support construction must be put in place.
  • The maximum overhang from the last suspension shoe must not exceed a length of one third of the scaffold length. The maximum overhang without a reinforcement beam: 1500 mm. The maximum overhang with a reinforcement beam: 4200 mm.
  • The maximum distance between the wall jacks and the wall panel that will be situated on the end-wall scaffold is 2400 mm.
  • Wall jacks must not be used past the position of the end-wall scaffold’s last suspension shoe.
