Model 3000 tunnel formwork

Based on the successful model 2000 tunnel formwork, Konosch has developed a new formwork system: The model 3000.

In this formwork, new insights regarding labour, flexibility and quality have been combined with the proven qualities of the current system. Moreover, Konosch took on board user input in developing the newer model, taking user-friendliness on the construction site to a whole new level.

Improvements compared to the 2000 model:

The basic height of the tunnel formwork is 2550 mm, in connection with the new Buildings Decree.

  • The basic width of the tunnel formwork is 4500 mm. The width can be adjusted from 4500 mm to 7000 mm.
  • This is possible by adding extra adjustment panels (this can also be done on the construction site). With minimal labour at the construction site, a greater range is attained.
  • The shell plating thickness is 5 mm for a longer lifespan and better (surface) quality.
  • Hoisting lengths of up to 15600 mm possible (depending on crane capacity and tunnel width).
  • Complete control of the electric winch is integrated in the winch. It simply needs to be connected.
  • Hoisting slings are countersunk in the tunnel deck. From the deck of the formwork, they can be placed in position for pouring the concrete. This entire operation can be carried out by one person.
  • Stairs allowing access to the tunnel deck are a standard feature provided with the deck scaffolding.
